The New Yorker Hotel

BOCA Group is proud to be the vertical transportation consultant for the iconic New Yorker Hotel. Originally built in 1930, the historic Manhattan landmark famous for its signage that remains a staple in the New York City skyline, underwent a major elevator modernization beginning in 2017, involving the upgrade of 21 devices.
Despite delays caused by COVID-19, BOCA Group is excited to close out the modernization in May 2025. During the elevator modernization, we worked closely with teams responsible for electrical upgrades and HVAC system installations to ensure the project meets all the necessary and latest code requirements.
Following the project’s completion, BOCA Group will continue to support the New Yorker Hotel by providing elevator consulting services, including inspections, maintenance evaluations, and attendance at monthly meetings.
