Richard Wernon, principal and co-founder of BOCA Group, is responsible for executive oversight of all the organization’s operations worldwide, including sales and marketing. He has 33 years of experience in the vertical transportation industry, including 18 years in vertical transportation consulting. Before founding BOCA Group in 1995, Mr. Wernon was executive vice president of sales and marketing for a major New York City elevator contractor.
Sam Sloane, Principal/Managing Director (left)
Sam Sloane is a principal of BOCA Group and has performed vertical transportation and project management with the company since 1998. Mr. Sloane’s responsibilities include executive oversight of all operations worldwide, including project management and construction administration services, for both elevator consulting and general construction management. Before joining BOCA Group, he gained extensive experience as a general construction project manager for ground-up projects as well as interior build-out and renovation projects. Mr. Sloane holds a Master of Science degree in civil engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, NJ and a Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Mr. Sloane is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), International Association of Elevator Consultants (IAEC) and an Allied Member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
Terry Wernon, Executive Vice President, National Accounts
Terry Wernon is a principal of BOCA Group and part of the leadership team responsible for sales and new business development worldwide for the company. Mr. Wernon has been educated and trained in the fields of finance, sales and marketing and has been with the firm since graduating from the University of Arizona in 2009.
